German fire brigade is excited.

Rapid developments in the automotive industry constantly present fire brigades with new challenges.
Increasing safety standards for new vehicles have led to extremely robust bodywork, which makes it extremely difficult for rescuers to reach trapped passengers in emergencies.

Rescue tools must keep up with this progress to guarantee that they can meet the new challenges of passenger protection. For the eDRAULIC system from LUKAS, dealing with such extreme cases is no problem. A German fire brigade got first-hand proof of eDRAULIC's performance in a direct comparison with conventional rescue tools.

Difficult rescue of a trapped driver.

In a serious accident on an expressway, a taxi crashed into a tree and the trapped driver needed to be extricated as soon as possible.

The advance rescue vehicle that arrived first at the scene was not yet equipped with eDRAULIC tools and the rescuers tried at first to work with the old rescue cutters. It soon became clear that their performance was not up to the task.

Passenger door dispels all doubts.

The driver's side B-post could only be removed after a very long period of strenuous effort, so the eDRAULIC tools were ordered to the scene. With the eDRAULIC cutter, the rest of the cutting work for extrication of the accident victim was finished quickly and easily.
The team leader was very excited. His evaluation: super, ingenious, unique.

The upgrade was a milestone for the team. For an apples-to-apples comparison, the same rescuers worked on the B-post on the passenger side, cutting through it without any difficulties. This live performance convinced the last sceptics in the team.
That proves that the cutting performance of the S700's blade geometry, combined with more power in spite of battery operation, meets even the most up-to-date extrication demands.
